  • Wash your hands regularly: This prevents the spread of infectious diseases, including the common cold. Wash your hands after coming into contact with those with a drippy nose and staphylococcus symptoms.
  • Drink plenty of water: and eat enough fruits and vegetables! Keep a check on your diet over the period known for overindulging. Maintaining proper nutrients is key in staving off sickness!
  • Keep on with exercise: Even though the nights are drawing in and running the dark is less than tempting, exercise can improve your immune system which can battle colds and flu!
  • Know when to pay the doctor a visit: Typically, going to the doctor for a common cold is unnecessary. While colds can be prevented, treatments are minimal. Rest up, drink water, and allow your body time to fight the virus! Should you face ongoing symptoms or a high fever, schedule an appointment pronto!
